Are you aware that there are a pair of Little Owls nesting in the barn opposite the back of your house? We think they were feeding babies as there was a lot of activity and noises coming from there. Our friends who came with us are keen bird watchers and we learnt quite a lot from them. The night sky was something else, it was so clear and not only did we count on average 8-10 satellites orbiting the earth each night (according to Mr Google there are about 8,000 satellites up there) we were very fortunate to see 8 shooting stars over the week, but I expect you’re used to that.”
